Pirate Party

Jump aboard the Jolly Rainbow and set sail on a swash-buckling pirate adventure. Our bold buccaneers are dressed in full pirate costumes complete with face painted moustache, beard and scar. The children have pirate name badges to keep. The Birthday Pirate will be given a special Captain's hat to wear throughout the party.

We set the scene by singing Pirate shanties with actions. The pirates then gather round to meet our sea-faring friends Captain Curly-top and Snappy the Crocodile. The puppets tell a tale especially written for the Birthday 'Captain'. We then play lots of themed party games including musical skulls, pass the treasure chest, pin the patch on the pirate, tug-o-war, hunt the loot and walk the plank; all with special prizes for the winners (and for those who weren't so lucky). Our fun-filled session also includes craft-time. We help the children make name plaques, cutlasses, pirate hats, treasure chests or wrist-bands. We ensure that suitable craft is used for each age group. We round our session off with 'Happy Birthday' in a large circle (this offers an opportunity to present the Birthday cake).

Included in the price are personalised hand-made bags stuffed with loot and other treasures. The Party Captain also receives an extra special gift from us.

Female guests can either join the pirate mayhem or alternatively they can add some refinement to the occasion by dressing as princesses for a combined Princess & Pirate Party. If your guests prefer to come in their own costumes we have an 'accessories' option where we provide bandanas, eye patches and sashes.
